Key Responsibilities
A key member of the Tax team, the Corporate Tax Compliance Manager is responsible for running the Corporate Tax compliance service for the firm.
The responsibilities of the Corporate Tax Compliance Manager will include:
- ORGANISING – Plan and coordinate the preparation of Corporate Tax returns
- TECHNICAL AND QUALITY REVIEWS – Review CT computations prepared by assistants
- STAFF DEVELOPMENT – Supervise and develop junior staff (both CT staff and those working on CT work from other teams)
- ADVISORY – Ad hoc assignments including technical queries (internal and external); assisting with larger advisory and R&D projects; awareness of other compliance processes such as ATED, ERS, EMI and EIS

Person Specification
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Essential
- Qualified (CTA or ACA)
- Corporate Tax experience – preparing computations in an accounting practice
- Share our values
Desirable
- Managerial experience – managing a client portfolio
- 3 years’ experience in Corporate Tax in a practice environment
- Line management or supervision of more junior staff with a proven track record of supporting the development of colleagues
- Experience of tax computations for corporate groups
- Advisory and tax planning experience
