Your mission

Sitting in our Commercial Department, our Business Support Services team provides company secretarial services that are an integral function of our clients’ day-to-day operations, whilst also ensuring their compliance with local regulations. As Company Secretarial Administrator, you will help to provide this service efficiently and accurately, collaborating closely with client directors and managers to achieve a seamless provision of services.  

Joining the team at a supervisor level, you will have the following responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining accurate client statutory records (all of these companies and LLPs), using the Diligent database. 
  • Ensuring all company filing requirements and deadlines are monitored and communicated effectively to managers. 
  • Preparing and filing dormant accounts with Companies House. 
  • Annually filing charities’ accounts. 
  • Incorporating new companies. 
  • Administrating share transfers, changes of registered office, changes of accounting dates, striking off companies, and handling filing fees. 
  • Maintaining paperwork associated with dividends. 
  • Preparing and filing annual confirmation statements, including processing payments where appropriate. Liaising with clients to ensure the statements are completed within statutory timescales. 
  • Managing correspondence with Companies House, ensuring that the appropriate manager or director is made aware of any changes. 
  • Making simple amendments to Articles of Association and share capital reductions. 
  • Liaising with solicitors for more complex transactions. 
  • Other various ad-hoc administrative duties for the Commercial Department.

What you'll bring to the team

Ideally, you’ll be able to demonstrate: 

  • At least three years’ experience in Company Secretarial administration, preferably with an Institute ICSA qualification. 
  • Ideally, experience using the Diligent software package or, if not, another company secretarial software. 
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills. 
  • A keen attention to detail. 
  • Clear and effective spoken and written communication skills. 
  • A commitment to your own ongoing personal development.
