
People & Development Advisor

Your mission
The People & Development Advisor is a core member of the support team of the firm. You will be responsible for the provision of a consistent service designed to support and develop our people throughout their careers with the firm. Additionally, you will have a key role to play in our strategic aim to support every member of our team in their ongoing careers.
You will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage interview bookings, candidate correspondence, offers, contracts, and right-to-work checks.
- Maintain training and performance development records.
- Administer appraisal programmes and trainee feedback sessions.
- Schedule quarterly updates, manage employee surveys, and administer recognition programmes.
- Monitor feedback and escalate issues as needed.
- Plan and communicate annual wellbeing events, including flu vouchers and Christmas gifts.
- Prepare and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly P&D KPIs.
- Support ad hoc projects focused on improving P&D services.
- Onboard new employees.
- Manage monthly payroll, pension, holiday tracking, and benefits schemes (e.g., Cycle to Work).
- Handle salary reviews, contract changes, and pension administration.
- Administer apprenticeship programmes, CPD events, and compliance training.
- Support apprentices and coordinate review meetings.

What you'll bring to the team
The People & Development Advisor will demonstrate:
- CIPD level 3 or working towards
- An experienced administrator
- Competent user of M365 suite
- Subscribes to the Fiander Tovell and CIPD Values
