With 2024 now well underway, it’s the perfect time to share an insight to all the latest news from Team FT!

Our February Business Update guides you through our exciting new hires, our promising outlook for the year, and some of the upcoming legislative changes to be aware of.

Current Affairs

There is undoubtedly a high level of uncertainty this year, with the ongoing conflicts in the Ukraine and the Middle East, and 40 national elections taking place around the world, including in the UK and the US.

Despite the uncertainty, at FT we are looking forward with optimism to 2024.

New Additions

We are delighted to have been joined by three new client directors as we continue to expand our offering.

Fabrice Legris joined us in October, bringing a wealth of public practice knowledge and experience having spent many years providing accountancy, tax and business advisory services to small, medium and large companies.

Helen Holman also joined us in October and has experience in a wide range of areas including strategy development, financial due diligence, business disposals and acquisitions and forecasting.

And we have Diane Warren who has rejoined us in November as Head of Private Client Tax. Diane has more than 30 years of experience in income tax, inheritance tax and capital gains tax matters. Diane also has particular expertise regarding the taxation of trusts.

These new additions coincide with the decision of Paul Meacher to step down as a client director after 40 years in that role, although he is continuing as the firm’s finance director.

Future Outlook

We are excited to have such strong and experienced professionals joining the firm at FT and the team are looking forward to working with all our clients and professional contacts in 2024.
